About CWRC
Our Women’s Centres provide educational courses, group activities and individual support. We run the Freedom Programme for women who have been subjected to domestic abuse, and Thrive for women who have involvement with the Criminal Justice System.
For over four decades, CWRC has provided support to women in Cambridge and beyond, including those who are facing poverty, homelessness and poor housing, abuse and trauma.
The centre was established in 1982 and has a rich history of supporting, training and encouraging women to bring about positive change for themselves and their families.
Offering a safe, trauma-informed environment for all women who walk through our doors, CWRC encourages s a sense of friendship, helping to empower women who need support in our community.
Our long established and evolving community of women offers a range of services to make life and living a little bit easier.
