Welcome to Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre

Our Women’s Centres offer creative activities and general support. We provide educational courses, group activities and individual support to help women take steps for a better future. We also run the Freedom Programme for women who have been affected by domestic abuse.

Are you looking for Women’s Aid? We are aware that a Google search for Cambridge Women’s Aid can lead to our webpage.

Although we offer the Freedom Programme, we are not a dedicated domestic abuse service. Please visit Cambridge Women’s Aid if you are seeking support with domestic abuse. If you are interested in the Freedom Programme, please complete a referral form and we will be in touch.

If you are in need of urgent support, please visit our Need help now? page.

About CWRC

For over four decades, the Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre has been providing essential support to women in Cambridge and beyond, including those who are coping with poverty, homelessness, poor housing, involvement with the criminal justice system, or abuse and trauma.

The centre was established in 1982 and has a rich history of supporting, training and encouraging women seeking positive change for themselves and their families.

This long established and constantly evolving community of women offers a range of services to make life and living a little bit easier. You can find practical support and advice on many challenging day-to-day issues.

Offering a safe environment for all who walk through our doors, with coffee room and free WIFI, CWRC encourages and facilitates a sense of friendship, helping to empower women who need support in our community.
